Qiddiya Investment Company is leading the way in Saudi Arabia's entertainment and tourism sector, and we are seeking an innovative Director - Development (Guest Arrival Experience) to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role focuses on the Guest Arrival Experience outcomes with the ROW for our ambitious development projects, ensuring smooth execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.The Director - Development (Guest Arrivals Experience) will be responsible for overseeing the development of the brief, Masterplanning, Design and Construction of all assets associated with Landscaping design and the Guest Arrival Experience within the ROW district. They will maintain accountability for governance, compliance and commercial / Cost management for all GAE projects that are delivered within their geographical remit.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the preparation of project briefs, business case, planning, design, logistics, implementation, stakeholder engagement and management, project controls, operator handover and closeout. Review and update development brief outlining district scope including objectives, timing and budget to guide the concept's overall directionConduct site visits, respond to queries, assess and review bids; technical and commercial to ensure successful delivery of all assets / ProjectsEngage with key stakeholders, government entities, operators and other Qiddiya districts teamsManage the achievement of the team's objectives through effective leadership by setting individual objectives, managing performance and developing the team to maximize performanceProvide overall direction and guidance to mentor, coach, motivate and challenge team playersWorking closely with the portfolio leads (Places and Public Realm, Development Marketing, Destination Marketing and Projects) coordinate the design, approval and delivery of integrated outcomes to enhance the Visitor experience to Qiddiya CityRequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred)A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in major programs or a similar fieldDemonstrated expertise in coordination of public realm for large-scale projectsStrong understanding of local regulations, legal processes, and compliance requirementsExceptional project management and organizational skillsExcellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations effectivelyProficiency in project management and GIS software applications
