Our confidential client is seeking a Director of Brand, Digital and Communications to lead the evolution and execution of a cohesive brand and communications strategy across all touchpoints. This role blends strategic direction with hands-on leadership and is ideal for an experienced, collaborative leader who can influence at the executive level while driving operational excellence.This position can be performed remotely from anywhere in Canada, with the option to work in a hybrid capacity from the client’s office in New Brunswick for those who prefer in-person collaboration.You will guide brand positioning, digital performance, internal and external communications, thought leadership, employer brand, and reputation management, while leading a committed internal team and managing agency partners. Whether remote or hybrid, you will be supported to work in a way that enables you to do your best work.Key Areas of FocusBrand Strategy & IntegrityLead the evolution of corporate and product brand positioning and identity.Ensure consistent messaging and visual expression across all channels and audiences.Maintain and steward brand guidelines, governance, and organizational adoption.Monitor brand health and strengthen market perception and narrative clarity.Web & Digital StrategyOversee the company’s web, digital, and social presence for performance, engagement, and brand consistency.Drive digital optimization, SEO and analytics insights, and content activation.Introduce enhancements in user experience, digital storytelling, and channel integration.Thought Leadership, PR & CommunicationsLead internal and external communications, including narrative development and executive messaging.Build and execute thought leadership strategies, media engagement, and stakeholder communications.Support internal alignment and employee engagement through timely, clear internal communications.Vendor & Agency ManagementManage external creative, communications, and digital partners to ensure quality delivery and strategic alignment.Oversee budgets, workflows, and prioritization of internal and external resources.Oversight & LeadershipLead and develop a small, high-performing internal team.Partner cross-functionally to ensure marketing and communication programs are effective and well-integrated.Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and contribute to strategic planning.M&A and IntegrationSupport brand and communication alignment for acquired organizations and products.Develop and coordinate messaging, brand transitions, and stakeholder engagement plans.What You Bring10+ years of progressive experience in brand management, digital strategy, and corporate communications.Proven leadership in a complex, fast-paced, or growth-oriented environment.Strong storytelling, messaging architecture, digital fluency, and stakeholder influence.Experience leading teams and managing agencies or vendor partners.Experience supporting communications or brand alignment in M&A environments is an asset.We thank all applicants, however, only those selected for interview will be contacted.Any questions, feel free to contact Julie Melanson - julie@teamjmc.ca
