As the organisation strengthens its presence across EMEA, it is appointing a Director of Business Development to act as the strategic deputy to the VP of EMEA Operations.The OpportunityAs Director of Business Development, you will lead efforts to expand the organisation’s presence and deliver commercial growth across consultancy services, training and education programmes, and digital/online publications.You will:Drive expansion and increase the organisation’s visibility and influence across the EMEA region.Lead major client relationships, develop strategic proposals, and present confidently to senior stakeholders.Build and execute strategic plans tailored to healthcare needs and market conditions in each EMEA territory.Act as a senior deputy to the VP EMEA Operations, supporting leadership, operations, and complex regional delivery.Shape new markets, partnerships, and revenue streams.Oversee and mentor regional teams and sales agents.Represent the organisation at conferences, events, and industry forums.If you thrive in a mission-driven, hands-on environment where your ideas directly influence strategy, this role offers exceptional scope and autonomy.Who We’re Looking ForEssential ExperienceA minimum of five years in a senior business development position within the healthcare ecosystem.Demonstrable P&L responsibility – (7 figures) – with solid financial and operational leadership experienceProven success developing and delivering strategic business development plans across EMEA.Confident presenting proposals, insights, and commercial strategies to senior leadership.Experience managing or operationally running a business unit.Backgrounds of interest include:Medical devicesRegulatory bodies (e.g., MHRA)Commercial healthcare organisationsHealthcare media, publishing, or professional sectors (e.g., Health Service Journal, nursing-affiliated organisations)Cultural FitThe organisation is deeply values-driven.
