Founded after the devastating loss of baby Alfie, we exist to end preventable stillbirth through evidence-based awareness, education, and advocacy. Six babies are stillborn every day in Australia. Our mission is to change that statistic by equipping families, clinicians, and communities with the knowledge and tools for safer pregnancies.The OpportunityWe are seeking an accomplished Director of Fundraising to design and deliver a high-performing income strategy across philanthropic, corporate, community and grant revenue. This part-time leadership role suits a strategic relationship-builder with a track record of securing significant gifts, winning grants, and building sustainable pipelines.Key Accountabilities• Lead the organisation-wide fundraising strategy and annual income plan, aligned to organisational objectives.• Build and manage a high-value portfolio across major donors, trusts & foundations, corporates, and community supporters.• Own the grants pipeline: prospecting, bid leadership, budgets, submissions, compliance, acquittals, and reporting.• Develop compelling cases for support, proposals, and stewardship plans that deepen donor engagement and lifetime value.• Work closely with the Head of Strategy & Operations to diversify revenue streams and deliver agreed targets and KPIs.• Strengthen brand visibility through partner activations, events, and thought-leadership opportunities.About You• Significant experience in fundraising, development, or philanthropy, ideally within health or the not-for-profit sector.• Proven success securing five- and six-figure gifts, corporate partnerships, and competitive grants.• Strong commercial acumen with excellent written communication and stakeholder management skills.• Strategic thinker who is execution-focused, data-literate, and outcomes-driven.• Values-aligned, with a genuine commitment to improving maternal and infant health outcomes.What We Offer• Flexible part-time arrangement and hybrid working.• Purpose-led role with clear, measurable impact.• Supportive, mission-driven team and engaged Board.• Opportunity to lead national growth in pregnancy and infant health awareness.How to ApplyApply via LinkedIn or email your CV and a brief cover letter to amira@stillaware.org with the subject “Director of Fundraising Application.”
