We’re seeking a passionate, forward-thinking HR generalist with a proven ability to coach senior leaders, foster inclusive practices, and deliver impactful learning and development initiatives.As we continue to build on our “We Care” culture and aim to exceed our retention targets, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our employees and the success of our resort.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic HR LeadershipDevelop and execute HR strategies aligned with the resort’s vision, values, and operational goals.Lead organisational design and workforce planning to ensure optimal employee and guest experiences.Champion internal communication strategies to foster transparency and engagement.Talent Acquisition & OnboardingDrive proactive recruitment strategies using modern tools and platforms to attract top talent.Oversee the delivery of our award-winning Clan Welcome induction and onboarding programmes.Learning & DevelopmentLead a high-impact learning and development agenda, including on-the-job training and leadership development.Build leadership capability through coaching, mentoring, and performance management frameworks.Employee Relations & ComplianceManage complex employee relations cases with professionalism and legal compliance.Oversee fair and transparent grievance and disciplinary procedures.Ensure HR practices meet internal and external audit standards.Culture & EngagementPromote a culture of inclusion, wellbeing, and continuous improvement.Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the resort.Analyse exit interview data to inform retention and engagement strategies.Reward & RecognitionDesign and manage competitive benefits, bonus, and incentive schemes.Support occupational health and wellbeing programmes.Succession Planning & Workforce DevelopmentLead strategic succession planning across all levels of leadership.Identify and nurture high-potential talent for future growth.Budget & Resource ManagementOversee HR budget planning and payroll efficiency.Ensure optimal resource allocation across HR and L&D functions.Person SpecificationEssential Qualifications & Experience:Degree/Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management (CIPD accredited or equivalent) preferredExtensive generalist HR experience at a senior leadership level.Proven track record of leading HR and Learning & Development teams.Deep understanding of UK employment law and employee relations.Key Attributes:Inspirational and creative leadership style.Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities.Passion for people and service excellence.Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teamsStrategic thinker with hands-on operational capability.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORWe recruit people with widely varying personalities from different walks of life and backgrounds.
