With our flagship, 50-acre full-boarding campus in Malaysia and new schools planned in Japan, Borneo, and key Asian capitals, Educ8 aims to establish Epsom as a leading British school family across Asia.What is the purpose of the role?Educ8 is seeking a highly experienced and entrepreneurial Director of Regional Expansion & Partnerships – Epsom College Asia to lead the next phase of regional growth. This is a hands-on, on-the-ground role based in Kuala Lumpur with extensive travel across Asia.This senior “hunter” role will focus on identifying, evaluating, and delivering opportunities to expand the Epsom school network through acquisitions, joint ventures, management contracts, repositioning and strategic partnerships across Asia — including both greenfield developments and brownfield conversions.A secondary focus will involve pursuing broader Educ8 partnerships across sports, enrichment, and innovation.Candidates with a background in building or expanding international education institutions or hospitality brands are especially encouraged to apply.What are the key responsibilities?Epsom College Network Expansion (Primary Focus)• Identify and pursue opportunities for new Epsom-branded schools across Asia through acquisition, partnership, or greenfield development.• Build and maintain high-level relationships with developers, investors, and education operators and ensure CRM and pipeline are rigorous, current and actionable• Lead feasibility studies, due diligence, and commercial evaluations for potential school projects.• Structure and negotiate JV, branding, and management agreements aligned with Educ8’s brand and governance standards.• Collaborate cross-functionally with academic, pastoral, marketing & admissions, operations, finance, and legal teams to deliver approved projects from concept to opening.• Prepare board papers, business cases, and investment proposals for the Group CEO and Board.Educ8 Partnerships (Secondary Focus)• Support Educ8’s wider partnership agenda, including collaborations in sports, enrichment, bilingual education, and global experiential learning.• Identify and develop alliances with universities, foundations, and cultural or sports institutions aligned with Educ8’s mission.Who are the ideal candidates?• Minimum of 10 -15 years’ experience in business development, growth/expansion, or partnership roles, ideally within education, hospitality, or related sectors.• Demonstrated success in originating and executing strategic partnerships, acquisitions, or joint ventures across Asian markets.• Deep understanding of international school operations, brand management and development.• Entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.• Culturally agile, commercially astute, and capable of working across diverse markets.• Degree in business, education, or related discipline; MBA preferred.• Willingness to travel extensively and at short-notice across Asia.What We Offer? • A senior role in a regional platform to lead the growth of the Epsom brand in Asia.• Opportunity to originate, negotiate, and deliver high-impact education projects.• Competitive executive compensation with performance-based incentives.• A dynamic, multicultural, entrepreneurial environment combining education, sports, and innovation.How To Apply?Please send your CV and a short statement of interest to “careers@epsomcollege.edu.my” indicating the Subject Line: Director of Regional Expansion & Partnerships – Epsom College Asia.Applications will be reviewed confidentially and on a rolling basis.Recruitment PolicyEpsom College and Educ8 Group are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
