OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Sales to lead and drive the sales strategy for a prestigious resort. This leadership role is pivotal in achieving revenue goals, managing a dynamic sales team, and fostering strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in the hospitality industry.ResponsibilitiesStrategy and Planning: Develop and implement strategic action plans, sales forecasts, and property-wide campaigns to achieve revenue objectives.Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to meet individual and collective targets.Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities, build long-term client relationships, and convert inquiries into confirmed sales.Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, evaluate sales channels, and monitor competitors to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.Budget Management: Create and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring a positive return on investment.Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and catering, to align strategies and promotions.QualificationsEducation: A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.Experience: 7-10 years of experience in a hotel or resort sales environment, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing sales strategies.Skills:In-depth knowledge of travel distribution channels and revenue management.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
