The successful candidate will combine strong strategic thinking with advanced analytical and reporting capabilities to drive data-informed decisions and operational excellence. The role also requires strong team management and project leadership skills, fostering collaboration and ensuring successful delivery of key initiatives.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement operational frameworks to enhance efficiency and achieve business objectives.Prioritize and screen high-value strategic opportunities and issues, including new business assessments, hypothesis generation, stakeholder engagement, and transitioning for team execution.Quantitatively track initiatives and operational efficiencies to ensure progress against strategic objectives and keep the organization on course for success.Support project activities and growth initiatives across the organization.Proven ability to interpret complex data and metrics; experience with data analytics tools.Conduct quantitative and financial analysis for COO and Executive decision-making, including collecting data from primary and secondary sources (internal and external), analyzing data, and generating actionable insights.Analyze business reporting and recommend improvements to operations; lead enhancements to dashboards and KPI scorecards to ensure accuracy and relevance.Support ongoing intelligence activities by analyzing market trends and competitor strategies, including financial position, strengths and weaknesses, M&A activities, market/customer/value-chain participation choices, and operating strategies.Strong team management and project leadership skills to guide initiatives and mentor professionals.Ability to lead change management initiatives and drive adoption of new reporting and analytics processes.Act as a bridge between business units and support groups to align objectives and optimise performance.QualificationsBachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).10+ years in operations management or similar roles.Experience with KPIs, change management, and IT coordination for technology implementation.Statistical and financial analysis skills.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Expertise in building executive level presentations.Robust written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation skills.Strong team collaboration and interpersonal skills.Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and data analytics platforms (Azure, SQL) an asset Familiarity with automation and data governance principles.Thrives in a fast-paced environment and fosters a culture of continuous improvement.Enercare is an equal opportunity employer.
