Drafter

Position:DraftspersonPay:70k-80k AUD per year salary package including superannuation.Job Summary:This person will be responsible for attending site, measuring, preparing shop drawings using CAD, managing shop drawings through all stages till client approval, and working with the operations management team during the fabrication, supply, and installation process to confirm set out and dimensions and parts and installation drawings.Duties & Responsibilities:Project managing, coordinating, managing, and designing shop drawings, and as-built drawings along with other associated activities from commencement to completion of the project.Attend site for site set up & client interaction. Instruct and supervise installers. Interpret and explain shop drawings. Mark up site for installation of prefabricated panels/products/materials.Facilitate any needed design changes during construction and assemble as-built/constructed plans.Skills & Experience required:At least 2 years of experience as a draftsperson using AutoCAD.At least 2 years of experience working with balustrades, handrails, or facades and glass.Familiarity with NCC/BCA/AS.Owns a car and a driver’s license.Basic project management skills.Good understanding on the construction process and metal fabrication processes.As built drawings experience.
