About The OpportunityA strong opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary building services team in Manchester. You will support the delivery of electrical engineering design across a wide range of project sectors including commercial, residential, public sector, science, research and mission-critical environments.This role is ideal for someone building their design expertise and looking to progress within a collaborative technical environment. You’ll be involved in concept development, detailed design, coordination activities and client engagement, while working closely with senior engineers to deliver high-quality outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to the delivery of electrical engineering design on a variety of building projectsAssist with developing concept designs, calculations, drawings, technical reports and specificationsSupport coordination with architects, mechanical engineers and other specialistsAttend internal project meetings and contribute to design discussionsCommunicate design information succinctly and accurately to colleagues and external partnersTake responsibility for discrete work packages with support from senior engineersAssist with design reviews, compliance checks and quality assurance processesSupport the preparation of project documentation and client deliverablesWhat You NeedProven experience as an Electrical Engineer delivering building services designWorking knowledge of Revit, BIM workflows, Dialux, Relux and Electrical OMUnderstanding of electrical systems such as lighting, power distribution, containment and life safety systemsExperience working with clients, architects and contractors in a consultancy or design-focused environmentStrong communication skills and a collaborative approach to project deliveryWillingness to take ownership of tasks and develop technical capabilityInterest in supporting and learning from senior engineersSkills: autocad,design,revit mep
