When you join Team Sasol, you are joining a company that puts people at the center of everything we do.Sasol invests in its employees along every stage of the career path and offers development opportunities to help you cultivate your career in a culture that embraces diversity and inclusion.Closing date02 December 2025Ref number10708OMEROASCity/TownMatola - MozambiquePurpose of JobSupport production by providing effective equipment maintenance and reliability while adhering to procedures/codes and utilising all available support resources to increase stability and maintain sustainability of the plant and/or equipment.Key AccountabilitiesCommissioning and start-up specific:Involved in Electrical system punch outsBreakdown maintenance of electrical during commissioning and start up activitiesFault finding on pneumatic and electronic loopsConduct technical investigations, failure analyses and plant inspectionsMaybe required to perform standby duties during commissioning and start up activitiesUnderstand and use the plant/mine maintenance documentation systemRelevant plant/mine specific/basic process knowledge (defined per discipline)Comply with Safety Management Systems e.g. IMS, MBO, etc.Read, interpret, and implement task risk assessmentDo Hazard identification/task risk assessmentsParticipate in daily morning meetings to discuss work assignmentsSupport the goals and vision of the business by meeting deadlinesProvide adequate feedback to supervisor on work progressMaintain good housekeeping and adheres to waste disposal proceduresCoordinate team activitiesCoach learners/artisans in small groupShare knowledge with junior artisans in known environment/contextConduct SAP inspections to maintain and improve plant sustainabilityWork effectively in a teamProvide adequate feedback to customers on work progressPlay an appropriate supporting role during emergency situations to get the plant back onlineGive input at “toolbox talks” to improve plant safetyGive input and interacts in PDAs and RCAs to improve plant safety and stabilitySpot continuous improvement opportunities in own work areaMinimum RequirementsNational Diploma in ElectricalNQF Level 4 Occupational / Vocational in Electrical0 - 5 relevant yearsRequired Personal And Professional SkillsBC_Customer FocusBC_Manages ComplexityTC_Analyse Alternatives and Recommend SolutionsTC_Troubleshoots Technical IssuesTC_Equipment UtilisationBC_Decision QualityTC_E_Electrical FundamentalsTC_Electrical SystemsBC_Action OrientedBC_Ensures Accountability
