Organizarion Description Girl MOVE Academy is an internationally recognized leadership academy, routed in Mozambique, with a bold mission: to develop the nextgeneration of African female leaders driving systemic change in contexts of deep inequality.Girl MOVE's innovative mentorship methodology has earned global recognition, including the UNESCO Prize for Girls' and Women's Education.Over the past decade, it has positively impacted the lives of more than 25,000 girls and young women by creating opportunities for them to become leaders and agents of change in Mozambique's political, economic, social, and cultural development. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Maputo (with the option to be in Lisbon) for a Resource Mobilization & Partnerships Officer. The role involves developing and implementing resource mobilization strategies, identifying and fostering partnerships with national and global stakeholders, and managing communication with existing and potential partners. Responsibilities include partnership management, maintaining an organized approach to tracking funding and partnership opportunities, and supporting the strategic goals of Girl MOVE Academy to further its mission. The officer will also assist in preparing proposals, reports, and presentations to secure resources and build strong relationships with key partners. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in Partnerships, Strategic Partnerships in the development sector, and the ability to cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders.Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, in portuguese and english, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and build engagement with partners.Proven Project Management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor multiple initiatives simultaneously.Exceptional Organization skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage timelines and deliverables efficiently and autonomously.A background in resource mobilization or fundraising is preferred.Familiarity with development work, women’s leadership, or education initiatives in Mozambique is an advantage.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Communications, or a related field.Advanced knowledge in Excel, Powerpoint, and relevant AI tools.
