Electrician (Relocation to Cyprus)

About the role:This person will be assembling, wiring, and testing electrical circuits, panels, and systems for prototypes, test benches, and experimental equipment, ensuring they meet technical drawings and specifications. They will also troubleshoot faults, collaborate with engineers on improvements, and maintain strict compliance with electrical safety standards and documentation requirements.Responsibilities:Installation, assembly, and wiring of electrical circuits and systems as part of prototypes, test benches, and experimental equipment; Laying out, labeling, and connecting cables, harnesses, and wires in accordance with electrical diagrams and specifications; Assembling distribution panels, control consoles, and switchboards; Connecting sensors, actuators, electric motors, controllers, and measuring instruments; Reading and accurately following electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings; Testing, adjusting, and verifying the performance of assembled electrical systems and components; Troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults during prototype testing and commissioning; Collaborating with engineers and designers to implement modifications and improve system designs; Ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards, occupational health, and industrial safety regulations; Maintaining documentation and records of completed installation work, including updates to as-built drawings. Requirements:Attention to detail, accuracy, and high responsibility; Willingness to perform experimental and non-standard tasks; Ability to quickly learn new technologies and equipment; Teamwork skills and ability to meet deadlines. At least 3 years of experience in this profession. Knowledge of electrical circuit principles, electrical equipment, and control and automation systems. Ability to read and assemble electrical diagrams (single-line, wiring, and schematic diagrams); Experience in installation, routing, labeling, and connection of cables, wires, connectors, and terminal blocks; Skills in assembling and wiring control panels, distribution boards, consoles, and laboratory/test stands; Proficiency with measuring and hand tools, and knowledge of testing and inspection procedures; Experience working with sensors, actuators, controllers, power supplies, and measuring instruments; Knowledge of occupational safety and electrical safety requirements during installation and commissioning work; Ability to follow technical specifications and collaborate with design engineers.
