ELV Site Engineer

We are looking for an ELV Site Engineer to join our Project Team. The role involves supervising and coordinating the installation, testing, and commissioning of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for data center and large-scale building projects. The ELV Site Engineer will ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards, while maintaining quality, safety, and adherence to project schedules.Specific Responsibilities / Functions: • Supervise and manage the on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems including Telecom, BMS, CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, and Public Address systems. • Ensure that all ELV installations comply with project specifications, design drawings, and international standards. • Coordinate daily site activities with contractors, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines. • Review and verify ELV shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements. • Conduct inspections and testing to confirm system integrity and performance. • Report site progress, technical issues, and delays to the Project Engineer or Project Manager. • Assist in resolving site-related technical and coordination problems. • Liaise with suppliers and vendors for material delivery, installation support, and commissioning. • Maintain proper documentation for inspections, test results, and as-built drawings. • Support the commissioning team and ensure smooth handover to the client. • Enforce site safety standards and ensure compliance with company HSE policies.Qualifications / Experience / Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Communication Engineering. • Minimum 5 years of site experience in ELV system installation and commissioning, with data center experience required. • Good technical knowledge of ELV systems such as structured cabling, BMS, CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, and Public Address systems. • Strong understanding of ELV drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. • Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and work under pressure to meet deadlines. • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. • Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
