Facilities Engineer - Arabic

Job Summary:The Facilities Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all building systems—mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and structural—are operating efficiently, safely, and reliably. This role involves planning and executing preventive maintenance programs, overseeing facility improvement projects, and supporting sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives.Key Responsibilities:1. Operations & MaintenanceOversee the operation and maintenance of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, etc.).Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and building codes.Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or system failures.Coordinate and supervise contractors and vendors for maintenance and repair work.2. Preventive & Corrective MaintenanceDevelop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance.Ensure minimal downtime and efficient asset utilization.3. Project ManagementPlan and execute facility renovation, retrofit, and expansion projects.Prepare technical specifications, budgets, and timelines for facility projects.Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely completion.4. Energy & SustainabilityMonitor and optimize energy consumption across facilities.Identify opportunities for sustainability improvements and cost savings.Support green building initiatives and compliance with environmental standards.5. Health, Safety & ComplianceEnsure all facilities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.Implement safety protocols and emergency preparedness plans.Conduct risk assessments and recommend improvements.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Preferred.Experience:3–7 years of experience in facility operations, maintenance, or engineering (depending on level).Experience with HVAC, electrical systems, building management systems (BMS), and energy management preferred.Skills:Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.Proficient in AutoCAD, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), and MS Office.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.Good communication and vendor management abilities.Certifications (Preferred):LEED, PMP, CFM, or equivalent certifications are a plus.OSHA or other safety certifications desirable.
