Swimming Pool and Water Tank Cleaning Supervisor

Job PurposeOversee and manage all swimming pool and water-tank cleaning operations to maintain the highest standards of hygiene, water quality, and safety. Lead and support the cleaning team, ensure proper chemical handling and equipment usage, conduct routine inspections, and coordinate schedules and resources to ensure efficient service delivery and full compliance with municipal and health regulationsRoles, Responsibilities, Duties Operational OversightSupervise daily cleaning and maintenance of swimming pools and water tanks.Plan and assign tasks, manage schedules, and monitor productivity across sites.Ensure correct mixing, dosing, and application of cleaning chemicals and disinfectants.Monitor and maintain pool filtration and water circulation systems. Water Quality & Safety ControlsConduct routine water testing (pH, chlorine level, TDS, turbidity) and record results.Ensure cleaning procedures follow UAE municipal health guidelines and safety standards.Identify and resolve water quality issues through corrective actions. Team Leadership & TrainingLead, guide, and motivate cleaning operatives and technicians.Provide training on cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and safe work practices.Conduct toolbox talks and ensure staff follow PPE and HSE protocols. Equipment & Material ManagementEnsure proper use, maintenance, and storage of cleaning tools, machinery, and chemicals.Report and request replacements for damaged equipment or low stock materials. Compliance & DocumentationMaintain accurate logs for cleaning schedules, water test reports, and service checklists.Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and internal SOPs.Report any incidents, hazards, or maintenance issues immediately. Client and Stakeholder CommunicationCoordinate with facility management teams and clients to confirm schedules and site access.Address service-related concerns professionally and escalate when required.Support inspections by regulatory authorities when needed Continuous ImprovementRecommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, service quality, and safety.Support the implementation of new cleaning techniques and equipment when approved. Information Security responsibilities: Comply with Khidmah Information Security Policies Be aware of and fulfil their information security responsibilitiesEnsure whoever handles sensitive company information have taken the Security Awareness Training Know how to report a security incident (to IT ServiceDesk or InfoSec).Not Disable his/her OS firewall and/or AntivirusRestrict use to authorized purposes, Protect access accounts, privileges and associated passwords.Accept accountability of his/her individual user accounts, and maintain confidentialityExperience and Skills:Industry Experience (No. of years): 3–5 years in pool and water-tank cleaning or facilities maintenance.Position/functional experience (No. of years): 1–2 years in a supervisory or team-lead role.Competencies and Skills:Strong team supervision and coordination abilitiesSolid knowledge of pool and water-tank cleaning, filtration systems, and chemical usageSkilled in water-quality testing and interpreting results (pH, chlorine, TDS)Strong understanding of UAE hygiene and safety regulationsCommitment to safe chemical handling and PPE complianceGood planning, scheduling, and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented with a focus on quality and service excellenceEffective communication and client-interaction skillsAbility to maintain accurate logs and reports.Education & QualificationHigh school diploma or relevant vocational certificateTraining in pool maintenance or water-treatment systems preferredCertified Pool Operator (CPO) or similar qualification is an advantageBasic First Aid and safety awareness preferred
