In addition, a series of strategic partnerships, signed on virtually every continent, support the company in carrying out multidisciplinary engineering, service, service management, inspection & expediting, and recruitment & hiring of local personnel.Pes is hiring a Senior Telecom Engineer!The candidate must have the following requirements and characteristicsA Senior Telecom Engineer in the oil and gas industry is responsible for designing, developing, and managing all telecommunication systems for projects, including creating specifications, schematics, and calculations, while also leading the telecom team, ensuring compliance with standards, and coordinating with other disciplines and vendors. The role requires deep knowledge of various systems like PAGA, CCTV, radio, fiber optics, and LAN/WAN, alongside experience with project phases from FEED through EPC and commissioning. Core responsibilitiesDesign and engineering: Develop project-specific telecom system designs, including specifications, block diagrams, and calculations for systems like radio coverage, fiber optics, and public address (PAGA).Technical leadership: Lead the telecom team, manage the flow of technical information, and act as the lead for telecom deliverables in project studies.Documentation and specifications: Prepare and review engineering documents such as schematics, data sheets, cable lists, and bills of materials (BOMs).Vendor and procurement support: Act as a package engineer, perform technical bid evaluations, and review vendor data to ensure compliance and proper integration.Project coordination: Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (e.g., process, electrical, structural) and interact with clients and vendors to ensure consistent and aligned designs.Construction and commissioning support: Provide engineering support during the construction and commissioning phases, including site surveys and site-based information requests.Compliance and standards: Ensure all designs comply with relevant international, company, and client standards. Required skills and experienceTechnical expertise: Deep knowledge of a wide range of telecommunication systems, including fiber optics, radio, PAGA, CCTV, LAN/WAN, and satellite systems.Engineering software: Competency in relevant design software like AutoCAD, Microstation, or other CAD tools is often a plus.Project lifecycle experience: Experience with all phases of oil and gas projects, including Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), detailed design, and EPC.Leadership and communication: Strong leadership skills to guide teams and excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Project duration: 12 months starting in January 2026Excellent knowledge of English!
