Job Title: Enterprise Sales & Account ManagerLocation: Uyo, Akwa Ibom State (with travel within Nigeria as needed), Hybrid also possible. Our platform, OperateIQ, combines operational, market, and customer analytics into one powerful tool. We are a bootstrapped startup with a lean team, and we are now ready to scale our customer base. We are looking for a passionate, experienced sales professional to lead our enterprise efforts.The RoleYou will be our first dedicated sales hire, responsible for acquiring new enterprise customers and managing relationships with key accounts. You’ll work directly with the founders to define our sales process, from lead generation to closing deals. This is a ground‑floor opportunity to build the sales function and directly influence revenue growth.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, qualify, and pursue enterprise sales opportunities in Nigeria and eventually across Africa.Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using outbound prospecting, networking, and inbound leads.Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to C‑level executives and decision‑makers.Negotiate contracts, handle objections, and close deals.Manage post‑sales relationships, ensuring customer success and identifying upsell/cross‑sell opportunities.Gather customer feedback and work with the product team to shape future features.Track all sales activities in our CRM and provide regular forecasts to the founders.Required Skills & Experience3–5 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, account management, or business development, ideally selling to enterprise clients.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Experience selling technical products – you can explain complex software value to non‑technical buyers.Strong network within Nigerian corporates, especially in industries like manufacturing, logistics, finance, or telecoms.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Self‑starter mentality – you are comfortable working without a playbook and building processes from scratch.Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).Willingness to travel within Nigeria to meet clients.Nice to HaveExperience selling analytics, BI, or intelligence platforms.Knowledge of the enterprise procurement process in Nigeria.Existing relationships with potential enterprise customers.What We OfferCompetitive base salary + uncapped commission – we reward performance.Equity options – share in the success you help create.Flexible work environment – work from our Uyo office or remotely when needed.Direct impact – you’ll shape our sales strategy and be instrumental in our growth.Opportunity to travel and build relationships across Nigeria’s top companies.A close‑knit, supportive team that celebrates wins together.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
