Environmental Engineer

We are looking for an Environmental Engineer to join E&S Team for the Bandırma-Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli High Standard Railway Project, financed by international lenders.Job Description: • Identify environmental non-conformities through daily environmental site inspections covering the railway alignment including associated facilities such as depot sites, quarries, concrete batch plants, camp sites and other work areas and report them to relevant teams for corrective and preventive actions• Conduct periodic environmental monitoring (noise, vibration, soil, water, air, etc.) and verify test results, • Support and follow up the national EIA, environmental permits and other environmental requirements in coordination with the E&S Manager, • Participate in pre-construction environmental surveys and assist in preparing related assessment reports, • Support the evaluation and reporting of significant changes made during construction that were not defined in the ESIA, • Provide technical support to AYGM and other environmental authorities during site surveys, • Participate in internal audits carried out under the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and assist in implementing corrective actions, • Coordinate with construction management and other functional groups to ensure that project-specific environmental requirements are integrated into design, construction, and procurement processes, • Support and participate in environmental compliance audits, inspections, and coordination meetings.Requirements:• Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering,• Minimum 7 years site experience in a company/project that utilized international finance,• Experience in linear construction projects (roads, railways, pipeline, etc) and associated facilities (quarry, crusher, concrete batch plant, depot sites etc.) is a plus,• Environmenal Officer Certificate is required,• Having valid drivers’s licence and actively driving,Good command of MS Office Applications.
