Reports To: Head of ESG & Sustainability Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and driven ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) Manager to join our Korea team. The successful candidate will have proven expertise in renewable energy development and a strong understanding of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) processes. This role requires a deep knowledge of international ESG standards and best practices, alongside Korean regulatory frameworks. The ESG Manager will be responsible for integrating ESG principles into project planning and execution, ensuring our offshore wind projects meet global and local benchmarks and contribute positively to sustainable development.Key ResponsibilitiesLead ESG strategy, planning, and project implementation for solar and wind projects in KoreaAdvise on EIA processes, regulatory requirements, stakeholder engagement, and reporting to ensure full compliance with Korean and international standardsDevelop and manage ESG risk assessments and mitigation plans across project lifecyclesPrepare and deliver ESG training, capacity-building, and awareness programmes internally and externallyLiaise with government agencies, international bodies, and local communities to ensure transparent and collaborative ESG managementMonitor, evaluate, and report ESG performance, enabling continuous improvement and innovationCoordinate with international ESG teams to align on sustainability targets, certifications, and disclosures (TCFD, GRI, IFC PS, etc.)Support the preparation of ESG documentation for investors, partners, and regulatory bodiesRequirementsFluency in Korean and English (verbal & written)Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or related fieldMinimum 5 years’ experience in ESG, sustainability, or environmental roles in the energy sector, with a strong track record in offshore windHands-on experience with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) processes for renewable or infrastructure projects in KoreaESG professional accreditation/certifications (e.g., GARP SCR, CFA ESG, SASB FSA, or similar) preferredFamiliarity with international ESG standards and frameworks (e.g., GRI, TCFD, IFC PS, UN SDGs)Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skillsAnalytical thinker with excellent project management abilitiesWhat We OfferOpportunity to shape ESG strategy at the forefront of Korea’s renewable energy transitionCollaborative, international work environmentCompetitive salary and benefitsCommitment to meaningful sustainability outcomes
