For a confidential conversation about the role, please contact the person listed in the Job Details.We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:Proven ability to develop an organisational wide ICT agenda and operational model for integrated ICT and information management.Proven and successful record in organisational change management, including the ability to articulate and create a shared vision and develop an ICT Strategic Plan to meet the needs of the organisation.Demonstrated and successful record of consulting, communication, and interpersonal skills conducive to establishing successful business partnerships and influencing others in an environment of change, transformation and accountability in an ICT environment.Extensive knowledge of the key issues and emerging trends in clinical and ambulance information requirements and ICT, and their implications for strategic policies and practices and the delivery of state-wide ambulance services.Demonstrated high level management and skills and knowledge, including experience in the areas of planning, managing resources, budget preparation and management, project management and performance feedback.Highly developed leadership and management skills including demonstrated capacity to create and maintain high performing teams and strategically manage change and innovation to improve organisational capability.Proven experience in overseeing ICT governance and control systems to deliver organisational and government priorities and manage service level agreements with external providers.Proven experience in representing large complex organisations in internal and external stakeholder forums and industry groups.The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:Whilst not mandatory, possession of relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification/s in ICT and/or business will be highly regarded.The incumbent may be required to travel on official business and the possession of a C class driver's licence may be required.Applications to remain current for 12 months.Job Ad Reference: QLD/670652/25Closing Date: Monday, 8th December 2025Occupational group IT & Telecommunications
