Job Title: Experience Manager Classification: Regular, Full Time Position Summary:   We’re excited to be adding an experienced event professional to our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the hospitality industry with a strong background in event management sales and/or operations. This role involves overseeing the planning, execution and management of events while driving sales growth and ensuring operational excellence. The target start date for this role is 2/9/2026.  Interview Process: The interview process for this role will consist of four phases: Initial virtual screening interview (30 minutes) Written Exercise In-Person Interview (45 minutes) Final In-Person Interview (60 minutes)  Key Responsibilities:  Sell, plan, and operate within a diverse portfolio of clientele, including corporate, incentive, and association.    Manage concurrent program workload at various stages of their lifecycle, including proposal development, budgeting, and operations.  Offer creative proposals that fit within client budgets, scope and timeline.  Negotiate with suppliers to ensure programs meet budgets and expectations, providing clear communication and managing expectations for seamless execution.  Coordinate with the Accent Programs team to align internal planning processes, timelines, and deliverables. Monitor and report on event performance metrics, ensuring client satisfaction and meeting financial targets.   Additional Responsibilities  Represent Accent Indy at networking functions and maintain active involvement in industry organization(s) to stay up to date on current trends, for professional growth and to expand network/relationships.  Actively participate on internal committees.  Champion the “Accent Way,” consistently upholding Accent Indy’s reputation for excellence in event management, partnership and client service.   Skills and Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field preferred.  Proven track record in event management, with a focus on sales and/or operations.  Strong team collaboration skills, capable of leading and learning from a diverse team to achieve common goals.  Excellent communication, negotiation skills and client/vendor relationship management abilities.  Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.  Sense of humor and ability to thrive in a small office dynamic.  Local know-how of Indianapolis as a meeting and incentive destination.  Proactive learner with a willingness to initiate and self-manage tasks.  Proficiency in Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other related programs.   Compensation & Benefits: While company benefits may be amended from time to time, compensation for this role currently includes: Base Salary of $50,000 - $60,000 / annually paid bi-weekly, based on experience Eligibility for monthly profit-based bonus plan after first full calendar month of employment  Company paid cell phone service when added to company plan or month cell phone stipend Health, Vision, Dental Insurance 401(k) eligibility with generous company match after (6) months of service.  Professional Development: Company paid professional certifications (i.e. DMCP, CMP, etc) and continuing education as approved by leadership.  Company paid professional memberships and meeting/convention attendance (i.e. MPI, ILEA, etc) as approved by leadership.  Other Perks: Flexible “Work Your Way” hybrid policy after 90 days employment Responsible Vacation Policy after 90 days employment  Paid Parental Leave Annual Team Retreat  Our DEIA Commitment: Our team is our competitive advantage.
