Are you are dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors and committed to a team-focused approach at work, if so we want you to join our team!The Perks of Working with UsCompetitive pay plus comprehensive benefits (available day one of your first full month of employment)Generous PTO package, including your birthday as a paid holiday!Medical, dental and vision insurance401k with company matchEmployee assistance programTop Reasons to Work with UsFamily-owned and operated management companyTeam approach to workSmaller by design - Vantage Point is not a big national chain and that means more corporate involvement and support of the teamMake a difference in the lives of those who live with usDescription of responsibilities:Assist governmental services during inspectionsOversee total operation and maintenance of the communitySupervise maintenance of the community buildings ensuring they meet or exceed company standardsCollect, prioritize, and assign work orders in a timely and efficient mannerAssist with the development of the capital project budget and annual maintenance budgetOversee construction, remodeling, and maintenance of all community buildingsOversee and manage maintenance contracts, electrical systems, phone systems, fire panels, emergency response systems, and disaster preparednessDevelop vendor relationships and negotiate contractsEvaluate equipment needs and make purchase requestsEnsure apartments are ready for occupancy prior to scheduled move-insOversee preventative maintenance programLead Safety CommitteeProcess and submit monthly expensesSchedule maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry teammatesDrive company vehicles as neededOn-call for maintenance emergenciesPerform other duties as assignedRequired experience:High School Diploma/GEDTechnical school education preferredMinimum four (4) years’ experience as a Facilities/ Maintenance Director required preferably in senior livingRequired skills:Must have technical knowledge (such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and code compliance) and mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment and possess a knowledge of construction principlesMust possess a thorough understanding of OSHA, fire prevention, and life and safety regulationsAbility to read and interpret construction plans and documentsInterest in working with a senior populationDemonstrated customer service skillsAbility to handle multiple prioritiesOrganization and time management skillsGood judgement, problem solving, and decision-making skillsMust be able to work independentlyWho Is Vantage Point Retirement Living?Headquartered in Exton, Pennsylvania, Vantage Point Retirement Living is a senior living development and management company that has been ensuring area seniors enjoy vibrant, carefree, and healthy lifestyles since 1995.
