Field Service Engineer (Data Centre / Up to JP¥ 8M Annual Base Salary)

Job Description

Our client is a global leader and one-stop solution provider of mission critical infrastructure solutions and services for data centers.Responsibilities:Perform troubleshooting, testing & commissioning, preventive maintenance,Respond promptly to emergency service calls and be on 24/7 standby duty (night shifts are to be expected including weekends and holidays)Participate in on-site troubleshooting with technical support, other engineers, and third-party vendorsComplete all required safety training on timeAssist Team Lead and Service Manager in planning, scheduling, and organizing department activitiesPrepare Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Site Acceptance Test procedures, and Incident ReportsConduct timely job debriefing and monitor OKRsCoordinate with project management team for testing & commissioning schedulesAttend all mandatory safety and technical trainingQualifications:Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or its equivalentMinimum 2-3 years of relevant field service experience in handling CRAC, chillers or HVAC equipmentExperience working on-site in a data centre OR critical infrastructure environmentGood written and verbal communication skills in English and Japanese (N3 minimum)*Candidates in Osaka will also be considered*
