Job Description – Finance Associate/Senior AssociateReporting to - Finance Manager/Assistant ManagerLocation - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Role And ResponsibilitiesHandle full set of accounts including cash flow, month/quarter/year-end closing, GST and year-end audit activities for clients.Prepare unaudited financial statements.Convert financial statements into XBRL format.Prepare tax computations for Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) and financial statement disclosures purposes.Collaborate effectively within teams, supporting the Manager in achieving departmental targets.Attend and facilitate (as appropriate) all status meetings, client meetings and client calls.Communicate effectively with internal departments and clients to ensure timely completion of deliverables.Perform other ad-hoc duties or assignments as required.QualificationsDegree in Accountancy/ACCA/CPA/CA or equivalentFresh graduates with strong academic results are encouraged to applyDiploma holders with relevant experience may applyMinimum of 1 year of accounting experience, including experience in the related fieldsMeticulous and good analytical skillsAble to work under pressure and tight deadlinesIT Savvy, knowledge of cloud-based accounting software requiredCapable of working independently with minimal supervision
