As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Finance Business Partner to join our team. This role will be based in Sydney.Position OverviewAs a Finance Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in driving performance, profitability, and cost efficiency across the business. You’ll partner with one or more functions (Sales, Marketing, or Operations) to ensure financial targets are achieved, investments deliver ROI, and cost savings are systematically identified and realized.You’ll co-lead major cost optimization and margin improvement initiatives with your functional counterpart - translating data into actions, tracking benefits, and holding the business accountable for delivery. This is a high-impact, hands-on role that combines financial acumen with strong stakeholder influence.Here are some of the EXCITING things you will get to do:Business Partnering & Decision SupportServe as the financial advisor to your assigned function (Sales / Marketing / Operations).Provide insights to shape pricing, trade investments, media plans, or operational budgets.Lead monthly performance reviews with functional leaders, identifying key drivers and actions.Support strategic decision-making through financial modelling, scenario testing, and ROI or Cost-to-serve analysis.Cost Leadership & Efficiency DeliveryCo-lead cross-functional initiatives to deliver measurable cost savings and efficiency gains.Partner with business leaders to identify cost levers, set targets, and track realized savings.Challenge the status quo by highlighting process inefficiencies, margin leakages, and structural cost opportunities.Build and maintain a clear savings tracker, with Finance-validated metrics and ownership accountability.Planning & ForecastingCo-own forecast inputs for your area, including revenue, trade spend, marketing, or OPEX.Provide variance and bridge analysis between forecast, actuals, and budget.Ensure assumptions are realistic and aligned with business strategy.Governance & ROIDrive budget discipline and ensure spending aligns with agreed strategic priorities.Conduct ROI analysis on key priority campaigns, promotions, and operational initiatives.Partner with FP&A to enhance reporting accuracy and automation.What requirements are we looking at?EssentialBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.4–6+ years’ experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Business Partnering roles.Proven experience driving cost reduction, margin improvement, or process-efficiency programs.Strong analytical and Excel skills, with ability to translate data into business actions.Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.High ownership mindset, able to thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.PreferredExperience with Oracle Fusion / EPM or similar ERP and Planning systems.Familiarity with Power BI and Data analytics tools.Prior experience in FMCG, consumer electronics, or retail industries.
