Role OverviewSewell Facilities Management Limited are looking for an enthusiastic individual with an interest in a commercial / finance career.The Commercial Administrator Apprentice will support the day-to-day administrative activities of the Commercial Team. The role provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business administration, working closely with both the commercial and operational teams to ensure the smooth running of processes and the delivery of exceptional customer service.This role will combine practical, on-the-job learning with formal training through the chosen Apprenticeship, providing a strong foundation for future progression within the business.Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm, 37.5 hours per weekSalary: £7.55 per hour rising to National Minimum Wage after year 1.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesReview and accurately code engineers' weekly timesheetsReview and coding the operations team monthly timesheets Cash collection & issuing statementsRaising and issuing utility recharge invoicesCollating and submitting meter readings Raising and issuing purchase order numbers Approve and code purchase invoices & credit card purchasesOrdering of materials and partsDealing with queries relating to purchase invoicingMaintain and update supply chain documentation records Attendance to commercial and other meetings as requiredProvide general administrative support across the commercial and finance teamsSkills and AttributesAs well as exhibiting the Sewell Behaviours of being Positive, Professional, Team and Customer Focused, with a mentality of Doing the Right Thing, the successful person will have the following:Essential:A genuine interest in a career in a commercial/finance role Positive and professional attitude and be smart in appearanceStrong communications skills both verbal and writtenExcellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a variety of tasksAbility for problem solvingA positive approach to learning, development and progression and a flexible working attitudePossess the nature to work as a valued team member and be willing to support a wider teamHave the ability to create effective working relationshipsDesirable:Full Driving License, valid in the UKBenefits£7.55 per hour Annual Bonus Opportunity25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays)Being a Co-Owner of Sewell Estates, learn more here: Auto Enrolment pensionStaff discountsHigh Street & Retail discount schemesBike 2 Work SchemeTechnology SchemePaid Parental Leave and Sickness Absence schemes
