Find out more at www.wwf.org.mm  Major Function  The Finance Director serves as a strategic leader and key member of the Country Management Team, providing comprehensive financial oversight. The role encompasses end-to-end financial management including strategic budgeting, forecasting, treasury operations, and timely financial reporting while ensuring strict adhenrence with applicable requirements in the country, WWF International Finance Manual standards, and diverse donor regulations. As a trusted business partner, the Finance Director strengthens internal controls and audit readiness, leads complex audit processes with external firms, and drives continuous improvement in financial systems (Oracle, VENA, GMS) and operational resilience through robust business continuity planning.   Major Responsibilities  Strategy/Action Plan Development and Implementation Budgeting Financial Operations & Compliance  Systems, Internal Controls & Audit Excellence  Donor Financial Stewardship  Team Development & Capacity Building  Stakeholder Engagement & Representation  Risk Management & Business Continuity  The detailed responsibilities & requirements can be seen in https://www.wwf.org.mm/en/myanmar_career_page/  Requirements  Master's degree in finance and accounting, Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field or ACCA Part II holder is preferred. Basic knowledge of environmental and conservation issues in the region is preferred Thorough understanding of international and local finance and accounting systems  Good knowledge of fund accounting including reporting requirements of major Bi-lateral Aid Agencies 10 years of practical experience in finance and accounting management A minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in country management teams and People management and international finance teams Experience in implementing and monitoring the compliance of finance system, policies and procedures, preferably the context of an international organization Fluency in written and spoken English and Myanmar language    Closing Date: 18 March 2026 (Wednesday) Interested candidates should send a cover letter and CV in English to vacancy.mm@wwf.org.mm, clearly stating the position title.
