We are present in almost every country in the world, to help move your cargo across the 7 seas, however big or small the size.Finance Executive – Global Back OfficeLocationManila, PhilippinesCebu, PhilippinesReports directly to:Lead - Global Finance Shared Service CentrePurposeThe Finance Executive will form part of the Regional Finance Back Office team based in Manila, providing end-to-end accounting and reporting support to the regional and global Finance functions. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing timely management reports, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and applicable accounting standards.This position plays a key role in enabling efficient financial operations, process standardization, and data accuracy across multiple countries under the regional scope.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & ReportingPerform daily bank reconciliations and monthly credit card reconciliations.Process employee expense claims and general administrative (G&A) expenses, ensuring compliance with policies.Record and maintain fixed assets, including calculation of depreciation.Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports.Assist with month-end closing, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations (e.g., prepayments, accruals, provisions).Accounts Payable & ReceivableSupport invoice processing, supplier payments, and vendor reconciliations.Assist in monitoring customer collections and aging reports.Coordinate with regional finance and local operations teams to resolve discrepancies.Compliance & AuditSupport compliance with internal financial controls and corporate accounting standards.Assist in audit preparation (internal and external) and ensure timely submission of requirements.Maintain organized documentation for audit and statutory purposes.Cross-functional CollaborationWork closely with regional and global finance teams to align on reporting timelines, templates, and data accuracy.Participate in process improvement and system enhancement initiatives to drive operational efficiency.Handle other accounting tasks and projects as assigned by the Regional Finance Manager or Global Head of Finance Operations.Skills and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.Experience in financial accounting, planning, and analysis.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.Ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones.High level of integrity, accountability, and professional maturity.Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently under minimal supervision.
