The long-term plan is to put in an EMI scheme, grow to £100m in revenue and exit.The RoleThis is a rare opportunity to be the sole in-house finance professional in a fast-growing, ambitious business, working alongside a highly capable outsourced finance team. You’ll be responsible for day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and commission calculations, while also owning the analysis, commentary, and reporting that drives strategic decision-making.You will work directly with the CEO and department leads, providing insightful financial analysis, cashflow management, budgeting, and forecasting. You will also receive mentorship from a multiple-exit sector-specialist CFO, who is an advisor to the business, helping develop you into a future Finance Director.Management Reporting & AnalysisReview management accounts prepared by the outsourced team, providing insightful commentary, variance analysis, and KPIs.Prepare board packs with clear analysis for executive decision-making.Conduct departmental P&L analysis and provide actionable business insights.Forecasting & PlanningLead cashflow forecasting and monitor working capital.Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts, supporting scenario modeling.Partner with the CEO, COO and business heads to translate financial insights into strategy.Provide commercial insights to support growth initiatives, new revenue streams, and international expansion.Controls & ComplianceMaintain robust financial processes and controls in collaboration with outsourced providers.Ensure compliance with payroll, VAT, and other statutory requirements.Coordinate with external auditors and advisors as required.Finance OperationsManage day-to-day finance processes: AP, AR, payroll, and commission calculations.Ensure accurate execution of financial operations with outsourced providers handling preparation of management accounts.
