If you’re looking for a role where financial professionalism is combined with a meaningful purpose, this could be the opportunity for you. In this position, your responsibilities will be:Quality assurance of grant applications and funding requests, in line with the organisation’s objectives and donor requirements.Monitor and analyse budget deviations.Coordinate and lead financial reporting and audits with accuracy and compliance.Identify and assess financial risks, implement measures, and ensure documentation is up to date and in line with relevant requirements.You will have a particular responsibility to supervise and report on the NORAD grants.Contributing to capacity building in country offices.You’ll become part of the Grants and Project Control division, a team of six people, working closely with colleagues in Norway and at country offices worldwide. We believe the following describes the person we are looking for:You’ve a higher degree in accounting or finance,You’ve considerable experience in financial controlling, grant management, or with similar tasksIf you have experience from auditing, it would be a great asset,You’re fluent in English. Norwegian is an advantage but not required. You will have the responsibility and autonomy over your own workday in an organisation with great flexibility and possibility of home office. You will have the opportunity to gain unique experience working in diverse countries and communities.
