Our people serve more than 200,000 medical facilities and work with over 450 clients, including the top 20 pharmaceutical companies in the world.Purpose of the RolePreparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/local GAAPS (MPERS) and Internal Group Policies.Preparing corporate income tax filing, indirect tax filing (SST and withholding tax and etc.) and/ or supporting tax planning, tax estimate/ revision, tax instalment/ payment, tax provision and managing tax audit.Lead the capital investment (CAPEX) review solutions, review the appraisals (RTA) and reporting.Reconcile and analyse balance sheet accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.Expectations of the Role:Reporting: Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy (financial data and non-financial key performance indicators) and timeliness in BPC reporting.Ensure compliance with internal controls and standard operating procedures.Prepare of monthly balance sheet schedule.Preparing and/ or reporting corporate income tax filing, indirect tax filing (sales and service tax (SST), withholding tax (WHT) and transfer pricing (TP) documentation) are up to date.Supporting tax planning, tax estimate/ revision, tax instalment/ payment, tax provision.InterCo reconciliation and reporting incl. agreements, invoicing, resolving mismatches and cash settlements.Monthly & quarterly government statistic reportingLiaise auditor and tax agent independently and provide appropriate dataCapital Expenditure (CAPEX) and Fixed Asset (FA) Control: Ownership of the FA module and monthly FA close process.Review, maintain and understand balance sheet and income statement reconciliations pertaining to FA activities to ensure all transactions are properly accounted in accordance with the policy.Plan and conduct annual FA verification.Reviewing CAPEX appraisals and the production process (recommendation to awards & financial evaluation analysis reporting).Monitoring financial control and management of property revenue and capital budgets.Identifying opportunities to improve the capital investment review processes.Ensure Right-of-Use (ROU) transactions are properly accounted in accordance with the accounting policy, IFRS 16.Planning:Budget planning - Balance sheet, tax, cash & borrowing, non-OPEX, CAPEX and ROU.Prepare and submit of insurance planning.Others:Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to drive efficiency and accuracy in reporting.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support in reviewing and identifying insurance claim documents to the insurer/surveyor.Execution of changes in Group Controlling ProcessLiaise/ Deal with external stake holders i.e. tax agent and government officer (IRB/LHDN) in pro-active manner and responsive to their needs.
