Job Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities:Financial Planning & StrategyDevelop and execute financial strategies aligned with sales and leasing objectives.Forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability related to equipment financing programs.Loan & Lease StructuringTailor financing solutions such as loans, leases, and rentals to meet customer needs.Collaborate with banks, OEMs, and other financial institutions to negotiate favorable terms and rates.Credit AssessmentAnalyze client financial statements, credit reports, and payment histories.Make informed credit decisions and establish risk mitigation strategies.Customer & Dealer SupportPartner with the sales team to promote financing programs to customers and dealers.Educate clients on financing terms, conditions, and available options.Contract ManagementOversee the creation, review, negotiation, and execution of financing and leasing contracts.Ensure all contracts comply with legal and internal requirements.Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure financing practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.Monitor and manage credit risk exposure and suggest policy improvements as needed.Reporting & AnalysisGenerate regular reports on financing activity, delinquency, and portfolio performance.Analyze financial data and identify opportunities for improvement.Relationship ManagementMaintain strong working relationships with finance partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.Handle financing-related issues, negotiate payment terms, and resolve disputes.Process ImprovementImprove financing processes for greater efficiency and customer satisfaction.Recommend and implement systems (CRM, financial tools) to streamline operations.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.MBA or equivalent postgraduate education is a plus.Minimum of 5 years of experience in financing, credit, or leasing, preferably in the heavy equipment, construction, or automotive industry.Proven experience in financial structuring, credit analysis, and customer/dealer support.Strong knowledge of financial products (loans, leases, rentals).Familiarity with financial regulations and credit evaluation tools.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, financial software, and CRM systems.Strong analytical and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to build relationships with internal teams, clients, and external finance partners.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
