Freelance Social Media Manager

A B Corp-certified fashion brand with a strong editorial presence and a clear commitment to social and environmental impact is seeking a Freelance Social Media Manager to bring its social strategy fully in-house. After collaborating with agencies, the brand is now looking for a hands-on, creative professional who can be embedded in day-to-day operations: spotting and responding to trends in real time, creating and managing content, supporting shoots, and overseeing post engagement on Instagram and TikTok. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced, creative environments and is eager to help grow and elevate the brand's social presence.Key Responsibilities* Develop and execute innovative social content across Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.* Lead creative ideation for storytelling around cultural moments, launches and seasonal narratives.* Produce, film, edit and direct high-quality, social-first content; support on-set during shoots.* Manage the social content calendar, posting schedule and daily engagement.* Deliver monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations for optimisation.* Work cross-functionally to ensure aligned, on-brand visuals, messaging and timely delivery of assetsSkills & Experience* 3+ years of social media content creation experience within fashion, lifestyle or creative sectors.* Strong skills in both image and video production, including editing and art direction.* Deep understanding of Instagram and TikTok best practices, trends and creator ecosystems.* Exceptional visual storytelling ability and experience producing premium, editorial-quality content.* KPI- and insight-driven, able to analyse performance and shape strategic decisions.* Highly organised, proactive and comfortable balancing creativity with hands-on execution.Project Scope & Duration: Start before start of December - rolling contract likely 3months to begin with review to extend Day Rate: £320per day for 3 days a week // £3750 per month - outside IR35 Location & Workplace Policy: London, Flexible on hybrid work the team are in Tuesdays & Wednesdays IR35 Status: outside IR35 email your CV + Portfolio : chelsea.matthysen@majorplayers.co.uk / ella.augustin@majorplayers.co.ukPlease note that due to the large number of applications, I will only be able to respond to suitable candidatesOur freelance roles move quickly, so if you're interested in being considered for this opportunity, please submit your credentials and availability as soon as possible.Major Players are the UK's leading marketing and creative talent agency, and over the last three decades we've consistently championed our people and communities.
