Job Description:■ Job OverviewWE’VE MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking skilled and creative Video Editors to join our Kuala Lumpur-based team on a freelance basis. You will be responsible for editing wedding videos for Japanese couples, turning their once-in-a-lifetime moments into lasting memories.■ Key ResponsibilitiesYou will perform editing tasks in our office using a company-provided PC.Editing short highlight videos.Collaborating with our Japan headquarters through cloud-based tools.Following editing guidelines and story flows.Adding music, transitions, and motion effects.Delivering high-quality video content on schedule. Please note: While the footage is from Japanese weddings, professional Japanese language skills are not required. The focus is on understanding the flow of the video to perform editing tasks. There is no subtitling work involved.■ Working HoursOffice Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PMYou are free to set your own work schedule within our office hours. (Examples: A focused 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM day, or a 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM day to balance personal commitments.)Our office is principally closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.■ Equipment & SoftwareThe company will provide a high-spec PC and a licensed version of Adobe Premiere Pro.For security reasons, use of personal PCs or software for editing is not permitted.■ Security & Work RulesTransferring work data to external devices is strictly prohibited.Video data must be deleted upon instruction after delivery.Bi-weekly status checks will be conducted to ensure security compliance.■ Project TimelineDeadline for delivery is 6:00 PM on the same day the project is assigned.■ Our StoryWE’VE MALAYSIA SDN. We launched in March 2025 with a vision: "Transforming touching Japanese weddings into world-class video masterpieces from Malaysia." As the creative hub for We've Inc., which boasts a track record of producing over 15,000 videos annually in Japan, we are a rapidly growing team. We partner with wedding venues and bridal companies across Japan to create beautifully edited videos that feature guest messages and the emotional moments of the day. Our Malaysian base is building a specialized team of professional video editors, working in close collaboration with our Japan headquarters.■ Work EnvironmentWe currently have 40 team members. The team is made up of fresh, dynamic individuals between their 20s and 40s who have joined us since May of this year.■ Who We're Looking ForIndividuals with a passion for video editing.Those interested in creating content that moves people.People who find meaning and responsibility in being part of the significant life event of a wedding.■ QualificationsPractical experience using Adobe Premiere Pro.A strong sense of responsibility to meet deadlines and the ability to accurately follow detailed instructions.Ability to maintain data confidentiality and adhere to company rules.Proficiency in English communication (Japanese is not required).Malaysian (we cannot apply work permission for foreigners) around KL areaOver one year of practical experience with Adobe Premiere Pro.Preferred Experience:Basic reading comprehension of Japanese.■ CompensationThis is a fully performance-based role. Payment is made according to the number of videos edited.Sample Edit: RM36 per video (Estimated time: approx. 1.5 hours)Main Feature Edit: RM120 per video (Estimated time: approx. 6 hours) As you become more familiar with the workflow, you will be able to complete more videos, thereby increasing your income. Many of our experienced members complete sample edits in 1 hour and main edits in 4.5 hours.Payment is calculated at the end of the month and paid at the end of the following month. (No invoice submission required).For example, payment for work performed from September 1st to September 30th will be made on October 31st.■ Employment TermsEmployment Type: Freelance (Service Agreement)Language Requirement: English (Japanese skills are a plus)■ Work LocationThis is an in-office position. We provide training before you start, and we have a comprehensive set of editing templates and manuals.Q. Is remote work possible?A. We apologize, but due to the need to handle our clients' sensitive personal data, we require all work to be done in our secure office environment.■ Selection Process【Flow】Application Review → Online Interview *Please feel free to wear casual clothes for the interview.【About the Interview】As part of the selection process, we will conduct a simple practical test of your Adobe Premiere Pro skills during the interview.For those with a licensed version of Adobe Premiere Pro: You will take the test online using your own PC.For those without: We will first conduct an online interview (to assess your experience and fit).
