Location: RemoteDepartment: AI Product & Platform EngineeringType: Full-time | Immediate Joiners PreferredZiarah.ai is on a mission to revolutionize how people explore, plan, and book travel — through intelligent, chat-based AI.We’re building the world’s first AI travel planner with instant booking, combining real-time flights, hotels, and activities with agentic LLM intelligence and backend-driven itinerary orchestration.Our stack fuses AI reasoning, data pipelines, and stateful integrations to bring real-world execution into every travel conversation.What You’ll Do Design & Integrate AI Workflows Build conversational agents that connect LLM reasoning to live travel systems (flights, hotels, activities).Backend Engineering & API Integration Develop and optimize Node.js / Express microservices powering Ziarah’s itinerary engine, search APIs, and chat interfaces.Database & State Management Structure and persist itinerary states, session memory, and AI outputs using MongoDB and Redis.Tool Orchestration (LangChain / LangGraph) Implement tool-based actions that let the AI perform searches, generate DTOs, and execute user selections.Prompt & Data Layer Optimization Create efficient prompt templates and integrate validation logic for structured outputs and faster responses.Collaborate Cross-Functionally Work with product, design, and frontend teams to deliver interactive travel experiences through our Next.js interface.Debug & Evolve Agent Behavior Analyze chat sessions, track tool performance, and enhance both AI logic and backend reliability.What You Bring2–4 years of experience in backend or full-stack developmentStrong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and RESTful API designFamiliarity with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar AI orchestration frameworksHands-on with MongoDB, Redis, and async data pipelinesUnderstanding of RAG, prompt engineering, or session state design Comfortable working in cloud-native environments (Docker, AKS, or AWS)Clean code, strong debugging, and practical problem-solving mindsetWhy Join Ziarah.aiYou’ll help build the core intelligence layer behind a real-world AI product — connecting reasoning to booking.
