Mid-Senior Laravel Backend Developer Needed (Mobile API Focus)

Third Web Solution is looking for a talented and dedicated Mid-Senior Laravel Backend Developer to architect and build the robust, scalable API infrastructure for our suite of Android, iOS, and Flutter mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in creating highly secure and performant RESTful APIs designed specifically for mobile consumption.Key Responsibilities:Mobile API Architecture & Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, versioned RESTful APIs (using JSON) for our mobile applications, ensuring minimal latency and optimal data payload size.Security & Authentication: Implement and manage secure authentication flows for mobile clients, primarily using Laravel Sanctum or Laravel Passport (OAuth2), and apply industry-standard security practices (OWASP) to protect mobile data endpoints.Data Optimization: Expertly utilize Eloquent ORM and the Query Builder to write highly optimized, complex SQL queries (for MySQL/PostgreSQL) and implement effective caching strategies (Redis/Memcached) to handle high mobile traffic loads.Real-time Services: Implement and manage real-time communication features (e.g., chat, live updates) using Laravel Echo with a backend driver like Pusher or Soket.io (Web Sockets).Third-Party Integration: Seamlessly integrate external services critical to mobile apps, such as Payment Gateways (e.g., Stripe, local services), SMS/Email/OTP APIs, and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for push notifications.System Integrity: Write comprehensive Unit and Feature tests using PHP Unit and ensure the backend logic is highly reliable, maintainable, and adheres to SOLID principles.Deployment & Scaling: Work with DevOps tools (e.g., Docker, CI/CD pipelines) to deploy and monitor applications on cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Digital Ocean).Required Technical Skills:PHP & Laravel: PHP (8.x+), Strong command of modern Laravel (9/10/11), Eloquent ORM, Service Container, and Middleware.API Development: Proven experience in building and versioning RESTful APIs for native mobile apps.Mobile Auth: Deep practical knowledge of Laravel Sanctum and/or Laravel Passport (OAuth2) for token-based mobile authentication.Database & Caching: Expert SQL knowledge with MySQL/PostgreSQL, advanced use of Eloquent Relationships, and proficiency with Redis for caching and queues.Real-Time/Queues: Experience with Laravel Queues and Horizon for background processing, and familiarity with Web Sockets (Laravel Echo).Security: Understanding of common API vulnerabilities and best practices (Rate Limiting, Throttling, Input Validation, Data Encryption).Tools & DevOps: Git/GitHub, Composer, PHP Unit, and basic server management in a Linux/Cloud environment.Educational Requirements:A bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field from a recognized university is preferred. However, we are open to considering candidates with exceptional experience instead of formal qualifications.Compensation and Benefits:Probationary Salary: 30,000 BDT per month (6-month period).Performance Review: Formal review after 6 months.
