This role sits at the heart of campaign delivery — ensuring flawless trafficking, accurate billing, airtight QA, and smooth operational coordination across Media, Strategy, Finance, and Creative teams.If you thrive in fast-paced agency environments, have razor-sharp attention to detail, and love keeping complex programs running with zero misses, this opportunity is built for you.AccountabilityAs the Media Operations Specialist / Billing Liaison, your success will be defined by operational accuracy, reliable campaign execution, and disciplined financial reconciliation. You will ensure campaigns launch correctly, run smoothly, and are reported transparently — while maintaining tight billing documentation.Here's how you'll make an impact:Campaign Setup, Trafficking & QATraffic paid media campaigns across Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn, and programmatic platformsPerform full QA across creative assets, URLs, UTMs, tracking, naming conventions, bids, budgets, audiences, and placementsMaintain trafficking guides, internal specs, calendars, documentation, and platform requirementsEnsure all tagging and pixel requirements are met across GA, ad platforms, and analytics toolsCampaign Operations & ReportingMonitor campaigns daily for performance anomalies or delivery issuesFlag issues proactively to media buyers and strategistsGather screenshots, assist with wrap decks, and support reporting accuracyMaintain internal trackers, performance logs, and workflow documentationBilling Liaison & ReconciliationTrack pacing, spend accuracy, and discrepancies across campaignsSupport monthly billing reconciliation and collaborate with finance teamsMaintain clear documentation for billing auditsEnsure billing and operational processes run cleanly and consistentlyProcess Innovation & Continuous ImprovementImprove trafficking workflows, operational checklists, QA processes, and documentationResearch platform updates and propose optimizationsIdentify operational efficiencies and opportunities for testing new formats or workflowsCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with creative teams to confirm asset specs and delivery timingWork with analytics and strategy teams to implement measurement plansCollaborate closely with finance for billing and reconciliation tasksSupport training for interns or junior team members on trafficking/QA processesColleaguesYou'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders.At Oceans, you'll also receive guidance and support from our Operations Manager, who will help you succeed in the role and ensure that you're continuously growing and developing in your career.Skills & QualificationsAt Oceans, we believe in T-shaped individuals — those who bring deep expertise in one area, paired with broad curiosity and interests. As a Media Operations Specialist, your vertical strength will be campaign trafficking and QA, while your horizontal strengths will include reporting, billing accuracy, communication, and operational rigor.To excel in this role, you should have:Experience: 1+ years in digital media operations, ad trafficking, or media billingPlatform Skills: Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Campaign ManagerTechnical Skills: Strong QA discipline; structured workflows; excellent Excel/Sheets proficiencyCommunication: Clear written and verbal English; able to report issues and updates reliablyMindset: Proactive, detail-oriented, organised, accountable, and comfortable with repetitive executionBonus Skills: Experience with programmatic platforms; GA4 or reporting tools; reconciliation workflows; creative spec knowledgeBonus SkillsExposure to programmatic platforms or DSPsExperience supporting billing reconciliation or spend pacingFamiliarity with Looker Studio, GA4, or similar reporting environmentsUnderstanding of creative specs for paid social, video, and displayDiversity of experience is core to Oceans. You will, however, be expected to be present for in-person training programs during your first 90 days with us.
