General Accountant

We believe in innovation, customer satisfaction, and teamwork to create an exceptional shopping experience across our platforms.Job Purpose:The General Accountant will handle daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with local tax laws, and support management in making informed financial decisions.Key Responsibilities: Managing the preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.Creating and overseeing sales analysis reports.Overseeing the production of periodic financial reports and statements, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards for accuracy.Responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year, including the timely filing of monthly and quarterly taxes to meet all deadlines.Conducting account audits to ensure compliance with state and government regulations; collaborating with external auditors and providing necessary documentation for monthly and annual audits to ensure accurate and timely reporting.Controlling treasury transactions, document filing, accounting policies, and cycles.Preparing financial analyses focused on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.Managing customer accounts, including Aman, Raya, B.Tech, Ranen, and others.Overseeing and managing all supplier transactions.Performing additional duties as required or assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3–5 years of experience in general accounting, preferably in retail or e-commerce.Solid understanding of Egyptian tax laws and accounting standards.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
