General Accountant

Job Description:We’re looking for a skilled and reliable General Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, ensures accuracy in every detail, and wants to be part of a collaborative environment. 📍 Location: Cairo, Kattameya, Ring road. Job Responsibilities:-Recording daily journal entries and ensuring transactions are accurately postedPerforming regular bank and cash reconciliationsMaintaining proper documentation and filing of all accounting recordsSupporting the monthly and year-end closing processesAssisting with accounts payable and receivable activitiesPreparing basic internal financial reports when neededAssisting with tax-related tasks such as VAT and withholding taxhandling local tax compliance and audit support.Monitoring cash flow to help ensure day-to-day liquidityParticipating in audit preparation and addressing audit requirementsWorking closely with other departments to ensure data consistency and compliance  Qualifications:-A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in general accountingProficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of accounting softwareStrong attention to detail, time management, and documentation skillsA team player with the ability to work independently when neededFamiliar with electronic invoicing and tax reporting on tax portal.  Preferred:Professional certifications such as CMA,DipIFRS.
