This is not just about compliance; it’s about fostering a culture where care, connection, and continuous improvement drive everything we do.About The RoleReporting to the Executive General Manager Legal & Governance, you will steer a proactive, risk-aware, people-centred safety culture. You will empower your regional team to partner effectively across the organisation, deliver measurable improvements, and ensure compliance.Key Responsibilities Lead the strategic Health, Safety and Wellbeing plan for the organisation.Model safety leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement.Embed a proactive culture of health and safety across the organisation.Oversee the development and implementation of wellbeing initiatives in response to recognised psychosocial hazards.Lead the management of strategic third-party partners to deliver high-quality injury management outcomes.Provide governance, assurance, and Board-level reporting on safety performance.Build capability within the WHS&W team through coaching and mentoring.Manage budgets, workers’ compensation, and financial reporting for sustainable outcomes.About YouYou’re an experienced WHS leader who can influence at all levels, build genuine partnerships, and use data to drive decisions.
