The RoleWe are seeking highly motivated web/software development engineer to join our team.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain PCBA DFM procedures and checklistsEnsure proper management of PCBA Prototype, EVT, and DVT assembly and test at manufacturing subcontractorSupport component engineering by ensuring component specification content meets PCBA DFM requirementsSupport DFx library to meet PCBA DFM & DFT requirementsGenerate DFM report and work with cross functional team to ensure PCBA manufacturing without quality issueGenerate DFT report and work with cross functional team to optimize electrical probe test coverage.Create software applications and systems by applying engineering principles and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++).Create algorithms and models that simulate human intelligence processes, including machine learning and deep learning techniques.Train AI models and optimize their performance to ensure they meet business requirements.Preferred ExperienceDemonstrated ability to self-manage and deliver results in a development role.Ability to work with a cross-functional team to define requirements and suitable metrics for the performance of new products and process.Familiarity with the properties and process of PCBA assembly.Strong knowledge and experienced of programming languages and software development methodologies.Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++ are essential for developing AI models and algorithms.Academic CredentialsA degree in engineering disciplines (computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, industrial, electrical) is required.LOCATION:Penang, MalaysiaBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
