It has responsibility for the Group and legal entities within the Group.About the role:As part of the Non-Life Legal Entity & Solvency II team you will be involved in a variety of activities including:Delivering IFRS 17 quarterly and annual reporting requirements for the non-life legal entities in Canada and AsiaMaintaining documentation of processes and proceduresWorking closely with Finance to ensure the efficient production of inputs to quarterly and annual IFRS17 financial statementsContributing to the monitoring of changes in rules and guidances or market practice relating to the calculation of IFRS 17 requirementsContribute to the continued enhancement of the IFRS17 actuarial environmentSupporting the team in its work for ad hoc projects, such as responding to requests from the regulatorYou will in addition, as part of the wider Legal Entity & Solvency II team have the opportunity to provide assistance on other Group related tasks, including Solvency II.QualificationsAbout you:The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:Studying toward an actuarial qualificationProficiency in the analysis of data and strong MS Office skillsHigh motivation, team-orientation and adaptabilityAbility to work under pressure within prescribed deadlinesExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to develop and translate new ideas into effective business solutionsEffective communication skills and proficiency in EnglishAdditional InformationPartnerRe provides a working environment in which diversity is valued, where all employees feel welcome, respected, and empowered to perform at their best.
