We are recruiting on behalf of an established 3-star hotel located in the Airport Residential Area, Accra. The hotel serves a mix of business and leisure guests and is known for its consistency in service and warm Ghanaian hospitality. They are seeking a Head Chef who can elevate both local and continental cuisine with strong menu planning, quality standards, and leadership in the kitchen.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Head Chef role located in Accra. The Head Chef will oversee kitchen operations, including planning, preparing, and presenting high-quality dishes that align with the organization’s culinary standards. Responsibilities include menu development, managing food prep processes, enforcing safety and hygiene compliance, and leading and mentoring kitchen staff. The Head Chef will also ensure cost control, inventory management, and consistent delivery of exceptional dining experiences for clients.QualificationsProven ability to prepare a wide range of authentic Ghanaian dishes is a must.Strong culinary skills, including cooking, food preparation, and plating techniquesExperience in menu development both local and intercontinental, recipe creation, and food costingAbility to manage kitchen operations, staff supervision, and team developmentKnowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and compliance with regulatory requirementsExcellent organizational and time-management skillsStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilitiesRelevant culinary certifications or a degree in culinary arts is preferredPrevious experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role is highly advantageous
