Our business scope encompasses the distribution of New Energy Vehicles, provision of EV charging solutions, electronic parts and mobility solutions, finance and insurance services, retailing of accessories and merchandise, monitoring data services for customers as well as the latest technology in EV design and manufacturing.The RolePurpose: Oversee PRO-NET’s accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate monthly closing.Manage and improve finance-related modules including OPEX/CAPEX, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.Drive operational process efficiency and enhance Finance team productivity.Ensure compliance with PONSB entity SOPs.Key Responsibilities:1. Financial Planning & AnalysisLead annual budgeting, forecasting, and LRPP processes.Analyse production costs, overheads, and variances to identify cost-saving opportunities.Develop financial models and perform scenario analysis to support CAPEX decisions (e.g., new equipment, plant expansion).2. OPEX ControlMonitor marketing expenditure and conduct variance analysis.Track and report key financial KPIs, including manpower costs and overtime.3. Operational Finance SupportPartner with plant managers and operations teams to improve financial performance.Evaluate make-vs-buy decisions, outsourcing opportunities, and process improvements.Ensure accurate product costing and conduct profitability analysis.4. Financial Reporting & CompliancePrepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for manufacturing units (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).Ensure compliance with MFRS, tax requirements, and internal control standards.5. Working Capital & Cash Flow ManagementMonitor inventory, AP/AR, and production-related cash flow.Optimise working capital through inventory reduction initiatives and improved payment terms.6. Team Leadership & CollaborationLead and enhance the productivity of finance team members.Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain Management, and R&D to align financial and operational objectives.Key RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.10+ years of experience in commercial finance, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.Strong expertise in cost accounting (including activity-based costing) and solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles.Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.Experience in the automotive industry is highly preferred.
