We are building and operating a curated network of premium clubs that combine world-class coaching, top quality facilities, and a strong sense of community.Our mission is simple: to grow the game by doing it properly, with exceptional operations, genuine hospitality, and a brand that feels as dynamic and social as the sport itself.With multiple new sites launching across the UK, we are now looking for a Head of Operations to help turn that ambition into a scalable, high-performing reality.The RoleThis is a pivotal leadership role in a fast-growing sports business. As Head of Operations, you will build the operational backbone that supports our expansion, ensuring every Padel Shift site runs efficiently, profitably, and consistently delivers an outstanding customer experience.You will combine hands-on operational control with strategic thinking, designing frameworks, leading teams, managing performance, and shaping how Padel Shift operates at scale.Key Responsibilities1. Launch and ExpansionOversee the opening of new clubs from concept to launch, including planning, procurement, construction coordination, and operational setup.Develop and refine a repeatable site launch playbook to ensure every new opening meets brand, service, financial and regulatory standards.Support site acquisition and feasibility assessments, including financial modelling and input into lease negotiations.Coordinate cross-functional teams such as marketing, finance, construction, and operations to deliver projects on time and within budget.Set up scalable reporting lines that support expansion and consistent delivery across multi sites.2. Operational LeadershipTake full accountability for day-to-day performance across all operating clubs.Define and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), checklists, and KPIs that drive consistency across the network.Ensure all venues maintain exceptional facility standards, compliance, and health and safety.Establish robust audit and reporting systems to monitor brand standards, maintenance, and customer experience.Manage supplier relationships and service agreements to guarantee smooth, cost-effective operations.Oversee integration of systems such as booking, POS, CRM, and inventory to ensure efficiency and accuracy.3. People and CultureBuild and lead a high-performing team of Club Managers, Coaches, and Support Staff.Design optimal staffing models and resource plans for multi-site operations.Lead recruitment, onboarding, and development, ensuring clear pathways for growth and succession.Champion Padel Shift’s culture, fostering teamwork, accountability, and a shared passion for the sport.Develop leadership capability across the organisation through coaching, mentorship, and regular performance reviews.4.
