Head of OperationsAbout Suupr BiogreenSuupr Biogreen is building infrastructure for Africa's skincare manufacturing ecosystem. We help beauty entrepreneurs formulate products and source sustainable ingredients through our platforms.We're currently pilot-testing with formulator partners and establishing lab capabilities to produce proprietary ingredients. This role will transition to senior level and requires good leadership capabilities as much as science/technical capabilities.Roles & Responsibilities·      Oversee product development roadmap; coordinate teams and technical consultants·      Ensure platform features align with user needs based on formulator feedback·      Oversee formulation trials, quality control, and ingredient validation·      Manage relationships with cosmetic chemists, regulatory advisors, and lab technicians·      Onboard and support formulator partners·      Drive ingredient sales and track transaction metrics·      Gather user feedback and translate it into actionable product improvements·      Hire and manage contractors, freelancers, and early employees·      Build operational systems, workflows, and documentation·      Run weekly team standups and maintain cross-functional accountability·      Establish vendor relationships and negotiate contracts·      Support fundraising: prepare pitch decks, financial models, and investor materials·      Track and report KPIs (user growth, revenue, GMV, margins, retention)·      Tell the operational story in investor meetings alongside the founder·      Maintain financial records and ensure budget accountability·      Ensure lab operations meet safety and quality standards·      Coordinate with legal and regulatory consultantsWhat We're Looking For3-5 years in operations, product management, or startup leadership, specifically around skincare, and cosmetics industryBackground in chemistry, cosmetology or related fieldsTrack record of executing complex projects with limited resourcesComfortable managing contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teamsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcited about biotech, beauty, or African innovationLocation & Work ArrangementLocation: Ibadan, NigeriaWork Mode: On-site preferred (some lab and manufacturing operations require physical presence); hybridWhy Join Suupr BiogreenBuild a category-defining company: You'll be leading the infrastructure layer for Africa's beauty manufacturing sectorReal impact: Every formulator you onboard creates jobs, displaces imports, and strengthens local value chainsEquity upside: Based on performance, possible early leadership equity in a venture-backable, high-growth biotech companyDevelopmental backing: Credibility and support from one of the world's leading development organizationsPath to Leadership: Clear trajectory from Head of Operations to senior leadership role based on performanceSolve hard problems: This isn't a copycat startup; you'll be building something genuinely new in African biotechHow to ApplyApply through LinkedIn Jobs, or with your CV and cover letter sent to cloudburstventures@gmail.com
