HR Manager1 year FTC (Mat Leave Cover)Investment Management FirmLondon/Hybrid£65-70KWe are searching for a highly driven and autonomous generalist HR Manager to join a London based investment management firm on a 1 year FTC. The new HR Manager will be responsible for the whole breadth of the employee lifecycle and all facets of HR. This is a standalone role within the business, reporting directly to the Managing Partner. The main focus of this role is to keep all day-to-day processes running smoothly, and to deal with any issues both proactively and as and when they arise. You will be expected to cover a wide range of responsibilities and be able to get involved with both strategic and operational matters. As the HR representative of the firm, the candidate will be proactive in terms of ensuring ownership of the completion of all responsibilities and obligations. Key Responsibilities: Leading HR operations including employee relations, benefits, payroll, training, onboarding and off-boarding and recruitment.Promoting employee wellbeing and a positive workplace culture.Assisting with the annual compensation review.Partnering with senior leaders and department heads to deliver annual performance reviews & the employee engagement survey. Subsequently following up with leadership to implement relevant actions.Maintaining all HR data to a high standard within the HiBob HR system for Board reporting, RFPs and DDQs.Ensuring the business stays up to date and compliant with Employment law at all times.Provide guidance and support to the organisation's DEI committee, including running initiatives.Providing HR advice and guidance across the firm as required. Experience: 5+ years’ experience in a relevant HR role, ideally with experience of leading an HR function in financial services.A corporate background.A professional and commercial approach to HR.An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy at all times.Ability to work autonomously in a stand-alone HR role.Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner, at all levels of the organisation.Ability to work independently and proactively manage own workload and priorities.Ability to build rapport quickly, across all levels of the organisation.
