We’re looking for an HR Operations Specialist to manage the end-to-end onboarding experience for new hires and contractors at Alnylam. This role ensures every new employee has a smooth, welcoming, and well-coordinated start — from offer acceptance through their first day.What You’ll DoCoordinate all steps of the onboarding process, from offer acceptance to orientation.Send welcome communications and guide new hires through onboarding systems and paperwork (I-9, background checks, tax forms).Partner with hiring managers, IT, payroll, and other teams to make sure everything is ready for each new hire.Organize and support orientation sessions, including schedules and travel details.Maintain onboarding materials, checklists, and process documentation.Track onboarding metrics and help improve the new hire experience.Support broader HR Operations tasks (ticket tracking, HRIS updates, reporting, etc.).What We’re Looking For3–5 years of experience in onboarding coordination, HR operations, or recruiting coordination.Hands-on experience managing onboarding from offer to start date (FTE and/or contractors).Strong verbal and written communication skills and a customer-service mindset.Experience with HR systems (Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle) or ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow).Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to work cross-functionally.
