In this role, you will take leadership for BeLux, have full generalist HR responsibilities and partner effectively with the business leaders to support the overall business strategy based on your strong business acumen. You will also provide HR support for Netherlands as required.You will be regarded as a source of expertise in the HR arena and executing on HR strategies and operational HR excellence. You will be a culture custodian to exemplify our culture and ways of working. You will be expected to take ownership and drive HR activities in close cooperation across the HR team with the HR Director to whom you will report.You will execute key HR strategies, provide operational HR excellence and make a difference in the following areas:Your ResponsibilitiesBuild trusted relationships with the local management team to support their organisational needs based on an understanding of Lenovo's strategy, objectives and prioritiesIndependently manage the full HR employee life-cycle: Support the business to implement their people plans for recruitment, development, performance management, succession planning, etc.Provide expert advice on Belgium/Luxembourg ( Netherlands as required) labour law and ensure compliance with all relevant regulationsSupport talent acquisition efforts by collaborating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategiesHelp develop and grow employees by participating in the people/career planning processSupport the communication and roll-out of global HR programsLead and participate in the development and implementation of country-specific programs and strategies, processes and policies aligned to local needsAct as a change agent to support Lenovo's services led transformationAnalyse HR metrics and provide insights to drive data-based decision makingAct as an ambassador for the Lenovo Culture around our common set of values that guide us how we work, treat others and are treated. Closely interact with other HR functions like Payroll, Compensation Benefits, our HR Service Centre and the EMEA HR teamThe position includes a multitude of tasks in the HR lifecycle, and thus has a portion of operational work associated with it (for example, recruitment process management in Avature or Workday management).This is full-time position based in Brussels. Lenovo's hybrid working model including 3 office days in presence in average. The requirement to travel is limited (20%) - and will mainly involve meeting managers and employees in our offices in Amsterdam.Knowledge, Skills Experience RequiredBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a senior HR roleExperience working in a multinational matrixed organisation, preferably IT.In-depth knowledge of Belgium labour law and regulations. Comprehensive understanding of Netherlands and Luxembourg labour law.Strong English skills, both in speaking and writing. Communicating in English will be part of your day-to-day job. You will also be fluent in Dutch and ideally French.
